The station’s traditional playlist includes the foundation greats from blues, rockabilly and rock and roll’s early days. The station will now air selected artists along side of the Hall of Fame names of rock and roll’s foundation era.

Artist song submissions must fit into the station’s unique Americana/blues/rockabilly/rock and roll format. The station can be heard at www.bluesrootradio.com. That website also contains detailed music submission instructions and forms. The station’s weekly audience numbers in the thousands.

March new artist additions include: Tas Cru with Crazy Mean Woman from Biscuit CD; Brad Wilson’s All Kinds of a Fool from Rockin’ the Blues; Something Good from the Second Half CD from Laura Lockie and Charles King; Nashville Session Players with It Don’t Rock Like Elvis from Gonna Rise Up; Feel Like A Man from Overnight Low from Big Hands Colvin; and Tom Malafarina and Can’t Get Used to It from Bluesman Tom and Friends. These artists represent Georgia, Pennsylvania, New York, California, Tennessee, and Washington state. Detailed information on each artist can be accessed at www.bluesrootradio.com

BluesRoot Radio is a property of BluesRoot Entertainment, a music brand development company based on Grand Island, NY. BluesRoot Entertainment is dedicated to supporting new music and the artists who write and perform the music. More information can be found at www.bluesrootentertainment.com.

Station owner John D. Moore said, “We encourage artists of commercially ready CDs to send us a sample of their work along with a completed submissions form. Submission does not mean acceptance. It does mean that the music will be considered for airplay, a listing on the station’s website at www.bluesrootradio.com, and inclusion in station promotional efforts.” There is no charge to artists.

Submission instructions, addresses, and forms are available at www.bluesrootradio.com. The station can be accessed for listening from that website, or from www.live365.com/stations/bluesroot.

BluesRoot Entertainment also operates a sister station, BuffaloTraxRadio, which focuses entirely on new independent artist music. That station accepts submissions from new artists as well. BuffaloTrax Radio can be accessed at www.buffalorax.com
