MakeMusic's Monthly SmartMusic Subscription Report
SmartMusic subscribers exceed 85,000
MINNEAPOLIS - Dec 5,2007 - MakeMusic, Inc. (Nasdaq:MMUS) today announced monthly subscription results for SmartMusic®, the music learning software for band, orchestra and choir. SmartMusic subscriptions as of November month-end numbered 85,332, representing a net gain of 2,581 over the previous month.

SmartMusic Impact™, the web-based student grading and records management system included with SmartMusic, also showed growth. Impact teachers (those having issued assignments to 50 or more students) reached 337 at the end of November, compared with 262 at the end of October, 159 at the end of Q3 and 26 at the end of Q2.
Finally, the number of SmartMusic Educator accounts reached 7473, compared to 7263 at the end of October, an increase of 210 accounts.
